Paint correction is the mechanical leveling of the clear coat until the paint is free of swirl marks and light scratches. It is done with a machine polisher and compounds, in stages, depending on how deep the damage is.
Stage I takes out most light swirls. Stage II and III go further for moderate and heavy scratches. Black paint shows everything and large vehicles take longer, so those are priced on request.
Correction is also the right step before a ceramic coating, so the coating seals clean paint instead of locking in the swirls.

Questions we get
Will it remove every scratch?
Not always. Scratches that go through the clear coat cannot be polished out. Stage III removes about 80 to 99% of heavy swirls and marring; we tell you what to expect after we inspect the paint.
